BACKGROUND Breast cancer (BC) incidence is estimated to achieve over 3 million new cases and 1 million deaths by 2040. Beyond its physical toll, breast cancer detrimentally affects quality of life, imposing emotional, social, and financial burdens on patients and their families. Statins, commonly prescribed for managing cardiovascular health, have garnered attention for their potential role in breast cancer management. Emerging evidence suggests that statins possess anti-proliferative properties, which could impact breast cancer progression. Understanding the potential benefits of statin therapy in breast cancer patients is crucial for optimizing treatment strategies and improving outcomes.
