First record of Anastrepha obliqua (Diptera: Tephritidae) and a tritrophic relation with parasitoids in a citrus orchard in Pará state, Brazil

Acta amaz; 51 (1), 2021
Birds associated with treefall gaps in a lowland forest in southwestern Brazilian Amazonia

Acta amaz; 51 (1), 2021

Use of estradiol cypionate to induce ovulation in buffalo raised in floodplain areas of Itacoatiara, Amazonas

Two new species of freshwater stingrays of the genus Paratrygon (Chondrichthyes: Potamotrygonidae) from the Orinoco basin, with comments on the taxonomy of Paratrygon aiereba

Neotrop. ichthyol; 19 (2), 2021
The genus Paratrygon, currently recognized as the sole monotypic genus of the family Potamotrygonidae, has a considerably greater diversity than previously indicated, including molecular studies, which supported P. aiereba (hitherto the only recognized species in the genus) as a possible species complex....

Cryptic speciation in populations of the genus Aphyocharax (Characiformes: Characidae) from eastern Amazon coastal river drainages and surroundings revealed by single locus species delimitation methods

Neotrop. ichthyol; 19 (4), 2021
Recent studies in eastern Amazon coastal drainages and their surroundings have revealed new fish species that sometimes exhibit little morphological differentiation (cryptic species). Thus, we used a DNA-based species delimitation approach to test if populations showing the morphotype and typical charact...

Ontogenetic change in the diet of Semaprochilodus insignis (Characiformes: Prochilodontidae) during migration between two limnologically distinct environments in the Amazon Basin

Neotrop. ichthyol; 19 (4), 2021
Semaprochilodus insignis is an Amazonian migratory fish species, moving in large shoals between white- and black-water rivers. It has long been classified as a detritivorous fish. However, it is possible that the trophic plasticity of S. insignis could be higher than previously assumed. The objective of ...
