INTRODUCTION: IgA nephropathy is the most common glomerulopathy in the world, it has a wide clinical expression, from asymptomatic to rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis. The definitive diagnosis is renal biopsy, within which the IgA pattern can be identified, including thrombotic microangiopathy.
