Introducción:
La satisfacción de los pacientes después de un acto anestésico es una medida de calidad de la asistencia que contribuye a la evaluación final del centro sanitario. Objetivo:
Evaluar el grado de satisfacción de los pacientes intervenidos quirúrgicamente que reciben anestesia general orotraqueal. Métodos:
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo prospectivo y transversal en el Hospital Hermanos Ameijeiras en el período comprendido de enero a marzo de 2022. Resultados:
En el estudio realizado el 40,7 % tenían entre 40 y 59 años, el 67,7 % eran femeninas y el 56,6 % eran ASA II y el 35,0 % se intervino por cirugía general. En el 60,3 % se realizó la anestesia general balanceada. El 100,0 % fue evaluado antes del procedimiento quirúrgico. El 99,2 % recibió un sedante preoperatorio y el 89,9 % refirió satisfacción. El 100,0 % fue bien acogido a su llegada al quirófano y fue anestesiado de forma rápida y segura. El 80,5 % se despertó en la sala de recuperación. El 56,2 % sintió algún grado dolor y el 25,3 % presentó náuseas y vómitos posoperatorios. El 70,4 % estuvieron satisfechos con la anestesia. Conclusiones:
El mayor grado de satisfacción lo obtuvieron los pacientes que se sintieron protegidos por sus anestesiólogos, le brindaron confianza durante el período perioperatorio y velaron por prevenir el dolor. La mayoría de los pacientes expresaron estar satisfechos con el proceder anestésico recibido.

To evaluate the degree of satisfaction of patients who underwent surgery and received orotracheal general anesthesia. Methods:
A descriptive, prospective and cross-sectional study was carried out at Hospital Hermanos Ameijeiras in the period from January to March 2022. Results:
40.7% of the patients were between 40 and 59 years old, 67.7% were female, 56.6% were ASA II and 35.0% underwent general surgery. In 60.3%, balanced general anesthesia was performed. 100.0% were evaluated prior to the surgical procedure. 99.2% received a preoperative sedative and 89.9% reported satisfaction. 100.0% were welcomed on their arrival to the operating room, as well as quickly and safely anesthetized. 80.5% woke up in the recovery room. 56.2% felt some degree of pain, while 25.3% experienced postoperative nausea and vomiting. 70.4% were satisfied with the anesthesia. Conclusions:
The highest degree of satisfaction was obtained in patients who felt protected by their anesthesiologists, who provided confidence during the perioperative period and took care to prevent pain. Most patients expressed their satisfaction with the anesthetic procedure received.
