Malrotation of intestine is an unccommon anomaly most often seen in infants, but occasionally in adults.

CASE :

We present a 33-year-old male, with long history of constipation, abdominal pain and symptoms of subocclusion. Two days before admision developed acute abdominal pain and vomiting. CT and barium radiographs demonstrated a midgut malrotation. When surgery was performed, the midgut non rotation was confirmed; the caecum and ascending colon were located in the left upper quadrant: An hemicolectomy was practiced
