An outbreak of botulism in bovines (Bos taurus) fed chicken litter in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil, resulted in high mortality. High levels of the toxin of Clostridium botulinum type C was detected in the contents of intestines and liver of diseased catle as well as in the chicken litter used to feed these animals
