Background. The purpose of this study is the evaluation and follow-up of the left ventricular function in patients with Chronic Aortic Regurgitation in all degrees of its severity, utilizing a current available echocardiographic technique consisting in Doppler color flow mapping continuous and pulsed ware Doppler and basic 2-D echocardiography. Patients with Chronic Aortic Regurgitation were selected, with a minimum of 6 months of follow-up, in order to avoid those patients with Acute Aortic Regurgitation
