This publication provides data on the health profile of the peoples in the Caribbean. The information can be used for policy, planning, and selection of health priorities.

The information is grouped into four categories:

demographic; socioeconomic; mortality and morbidity; and resources, access and coverage. The indicators were selected because of their public health significance and the availability of current information from most of the countries.
