Bioetica y mujer: retos y perspectivas

El artículo presenta un resumen de las exposiciones presentadas en la Jornada Internacional Bioética y Mujer:

Retos y perspectivas, organizado por la UNIFE el 7 de marzo de 2007. A partir del estudio de aspectos esenciales de la Bioética, se analiza, en forma pluridisciplinaria, la importancia de la mujer para la materia, desde diversas perspectivas: jurídica, filosófica y psicológica, teniendo en cuenta la necesidad del respeto a su dignidad y a su integridad psicosomática, como también el rol que corresponde en la defensa del derecho a la vida y otros derechos fundamentales.

This paper brings a summary of the presentations from the International Event:

Women and Bioethics: Challenges and Perspectives, organized by UNIFÉ, on March 7th, 2007. From the study of Bioethics essential aspects, it is analyzed, in a multidisciplinary way, the importance of women for this subject, from different perspectives: legal, philosophical and psychological, considering it is necessary to respect her dignity and psychosomatic integrity, as well as her corresponding role in defending the right to life and other fundamental rights.
