El propósito del estudio fue determinar la correlación que existe entre las fuentes de presión laboral, dimensiones de personalidad y estrés laboral en profesores de Educación Especial de Lima Metropolitana. La muestra estuvo conformada por 308 profesores y fueron evaluados con el Cuestionario de Presiones laborales de Travers y Cooper, el Cuestionario de Personalidad de Eysenck y el Inventario de Burnout de Maslach. Mediante un diseño descriptivo correlacional se hallaron correlaciones de moderadas a significativas entre las tres variables; observándose que a mayor extraversión corresponde menor presión laboral, menor cansancio emocional y despersonalización y en neuroticismo y psicoticismo perciben mayor presión laboral y experimentan mayor cansancio emocional y despersonalización y una menor realización personal. Del mismo modo a mayor presión laboral se observa mayor cansancio emocional y despersonalización y una menor realización personal.
The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between the sources of work pressure, dimensions of personality and work stress seen in teachers of Special Education in Metropolitan Lima. The sample was took from 308 teachers and they were evaluated with the Travers’ and Cooper’s Labor Preassure Questionnaire, the Eysenck’s Personality Questionnaria and the Maslach Burnout’s Inventory. Through a descriptive correlational design, there were found correlations, from moderate to significant between the three variables where it was observed that higher extraversion leads to less work pressure, less emotional exhaustion and depersonalization and higher personal fulfillment, on the other hand; those who get high scores in neuroticism and psychoticism perceive higher work pressure and experiencing higher emotional exhaustion and depersonalization and a reduced personal accomplishment. In the same way, from higher work pressure is observed more emotional exhaustion and depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment.
