El quiste óseo aneurismático es una lesión ósea infrecuente que raramente se localiza a nivel del esqueleto craneofacial. Del conjunto de lesiones quísticas de los maxilares, constituye una variedad poco frecuente, que presenta sin embargo características diferenciales respecto a otro tipo de patologías óseas. Presentamos un caso tomográfico de un varón latino de 17 años que presentaba dicha lesión a nivel del ángulo mandibular izquierdo que provocó gran destrucción ósea y reabsorción radicular de los dientes vecinos. Revisamos la literatura centrándonos en el diagnóstico diferencial.
The aneurysmatic osseous cyst is a very infrequent bone lesion which in some occasions can be found at the craniofacial skeleton. On the other side it is at the same time very interesting in terms of its differential diagnose with other types of maxillary bone lesions. We present the tomographic case of a latin male in a 17 years-old with and aneurysmatic cyst located at the left angle of the mandible, caused extensive destruction of bone and root reabsorption of the associated teeth. We have focused on the differential diagnose and review of the literature concerning the case.
