El proceso de rehabilitación del paciente quemado abarca no solo el aspecto físico sino también el aspecto psicológico y social, debido a las secuelas que deja en cada uno de estos aspectos. Por eso un equipo un multidisciplinario de salud monitorea al paciente durante y después del internamiento hospitalario. La familia en este proceso cumple un rol importante como agente influyente protegiendo al paciente de las presiones exteriores y controlando el flujo de información hacia éste. AI respecto, el profesional de enfermería tiene la responsabilidad de diseñar estrategias, no solo para el cuidado directo al paciente, sino a nivel educativo para brindar conocimientos básicos de las familias que tienen poca experiencia sobre el cuidado a su familiar en el proceso de rehabilitación .De tal forma que él reciba la atención adecuada, para que pueda reintegrarse al ambiente familiar y sobretodo laboral. Todo lo expuesto hizo necesario realizar el presente estudio aplicativo, tipo cuantitativo; cuasi experimental cuyo título es Efectividad de la intervención educativa de enfermería en el nivel de conocimientos que tiene la familia sobre los cuidados para la rehabilitación del paciente quemado; que empleó como técnica la entrevista aplicada a una muestra de la población conformada por 25 familiares de pacientes quemados del Hospital Nacional Arzobispo Loayza. Los resultados en el pre test mostraron que un 60 por ciento (15) de familiares tiene un nivel de conocimiento medio, un 20 por ciento (5) nivel alto, en igual número y porcentaje presentaron un nivel bajo. Después de la Intervención Educativa el 56 por ciento (14) obtuvo un nivel de conocimientos alto y 44 por ciento (11) un nivel de conocimiento medio, existiendo variación en el nivel de conocimiento de los familiares. Este hallazgo permitió concluir que La intervención educativa de Enfermería desarrollado tiene una eficacia significativa en el incremento de conocimientos sobre los cuidados en el hogar de la familia al paciente quemado durante su rehabilitación

The process of rehabilitation of burn patients includes not only physical but also the psychological and social consequences due to leaves on each of these aspects. The family in this process plays an important role as an influential agent protecting the patient from external pressures and controlling the flow of information to it. In this regard, the nurse is responsible for designing strategies, not only in the welfare field, but well established educational strategies to provide basic knowledge to families who have little experience in the care of burn patients in the rehabilitation process. Contributing to the burn patient receives the necessary attention by the family who will help you cope with it and can return to the home environment and above all the work. All the above was necessary to conduct this study application, quantitative, quasi-experimental titled Effectiveness of nursing educational intervention at the level of knowledge of the family on care for the rehabilitation of burn patients, that technique was used as the interview and the instrument was the Z test In a population that consisted of 25 relatives of burned patients Archbishop Loayza National Hospital. The results in the pretest showed that 60 per cent of family has a level of knowledge, 20 per cent of the families have a high knowledge level of 20 per cent, also the 20 per cent of families have low knowledge. After application of the test showed that 56 per cent of families have a high knowledge level and 44 per cent have a level of knowledge, so the percentage of the level of knowledge increased.
