El presente estudio corresponde a una investigación de tipo cuantitativo, nivel aplicativo cuyo método es el descriptivo. La población muestral estará conformada por 45 pacientes hospitalizados en los servicios de medicina y cirugía del Hospital Regional Eleazar Guzmán Barrón, ubicado en el distrito de Nuevo Chimbote provincia del Santa departamento de Ancash. La técnica que se utilizará será la escala de Likert Modificada, que consta de presentación, instrucción y 28 ítems, el cual será sometido a validez de contenido y constructo a través del juicio de expertos (8) y procesado en la tabla de concordancia y prueba binomial. El objetivo general Determinar la percepción del paciente acerca de la calidad de atención en la dimensión humana que brinda el profesional de enfermería a los pacientes en los servicios de medicina y cirugía en el Hospital Regional Eleazar Guzmán Barrón - Chimbote julio - setiembre del 2011.
